    Tūwharetoa tennis champ laps up ASB Classic opportunity

    Paige Hourigan has gained entry to the main draw of the ASB Classic for the first time and, after her losing her father last year, the Tūwharetoa champion is hoping that this can be the year she achieves some of her biggest goals. With a field containing Serena Williams, Caroline Wozniacki and defending champ Julia Gorges, winning the event will be a tough ask.

    Wāhine dehydrating themselves to avoid toilets- RMTU

    The problems that World Toilet Day seek to resolve are not restricted to the Third World. According to a Rail & Maritime Transport Union (RMTU) press statement, even wāhine workers in Aotearoa are struggling for access to toilets and hygiene facilities. The RTMU claimed that their wāhine workers are taking medication to dehydrate themselves because they cannot access a toilet at work.
