The All Blacks have managed to come out on top against Argentina in their first Rugby World Cup clash in Pool C.
It wasn’t all smooth sailing for the All Blacks who were faced with a number of challenges in the feisty match.
London’s Wembley Stadium was packed out with 89 thousand fans who managed to provide an electric atmosphere for the defenders of the Rugby World Cup Title.
The AB's were faced with a number of nail biting moments after Captain Richie McCaw and Conrad Smith were pinged for professional fouls which reduced the team to just 13 for a period while they were sin binned.
Aaron Smith and Sam Cane scored the first tries for the AB’s in the second half.
Argentina put up a good, strong fight but in the end the AB’s came out on top, 26-16.
The All Blacks now prepare to face Namibia on Thursday in their campaign to defend the Web Ellis Cup.
