Recorded Music NZ has just released the finalists for the 50th annual Vodafone New Zealand Music Awards for 2015.
One of the country's most popular and successful bands, Six60 is a finalist in four categories, including Mentos Album of the Year, Best Group, Single of the Year for White Lines, and The Edge Best Pop Album.
Internationally acclaimed Broods, who last year took home their first Tui for Breakthrough Artist of the Year is back again. This year they are in the running for Mentos Album of the Year, Best Group and The Edge Best Pop Album.
Māoridom's very own Moana and the Tribe is also up for two Tuis for Best Roots Album and Best Māori Album.
The Best Māori Album category also comprises of Ranea's Tihei Mauri Ora song, as well as Whaia and the Mahician for their waiata, Whāia.
Stan Walker is up for yet another award, including Best Male Solo Artist, the Vodafone People's Choice Award and NZ On Air Best Music video for the song Aotearoa, alongside Ria Hall, Maisey Rika and Troy Kingi.
This year, music fans will be treated to live performances from Marlon Williams, Broods, Gin Wigmore, Savage, Janine and The Mixtape and Devilskin. There will also be a special performance dedicated to the 2015 New Zealand Herald Legacy Award recipient.
Fans across the country will be able to enjoy the entertainment, as there is a live broadcast on TV3 with the support of NZ ON Air.
The awards ceremony will take place at Auckland's Vector Arena on Thursday November 19.
