Daylight Saving ends this Sunday

New Zealand Daylight Saving ends this Sunday 3 April.

Clocks need to go back one hour before going to bed on Saturday night.

As well as changing clocks, the end of daylight saving is also a prime time for people to check their household emergency plans and smoke alarms.

The daylight saving period runs from the last Sunday in September to the first Sunday in April. This year daylight saving will start on 25 September.
