Oat Biscuits

Mea Whakauru
- 125g softened butter
- 2 tablespoons golden syrup
- Half cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 egg
- 1 cup of plain flour
- 1 cup of rolled oats
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
Method
- Cream butter and sugar, golden syrup until pale.
- Sift flour and baking powder.
- Add all ingredients and mix well.
- Roll into balls on a greased tray.
- Flatten with a fork.
- Bake at 180C for 15-20 minutes or until golden.
