Nachos presented in a plate


  • 500g lamb or beef mince
  • 400 g can Wattie’s Mexican Style Tomatoes    
  • 420 g can Wattie’s Chilli Beans Mild
  • 1 packet Maggi Mexican Nachos
  • 1 handful grated cheese
  • Nacho cheese corn chips
  • 1 Avocado (optional)
  • ½ cup sour cream (optional)
  • 1 Tbsp chopped chives or spring onions (optional)
  • Coriander sprinkled on top (optional)


  1. In a non-stick pan, brown the meat.
  2. Add Wattie’s Mexican Style Tomatoes, Wattie’s Chilli Beans Mild and packet Maggi Mexican Nachos to the mince. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  3. Place corn chips into individual bowls, spoon over nacho mince. Sprinkle the cheese on top. Place under a hot grill to melt.
  4. Top with sour cream, avocado, chopped chives (optional)
