Fish & Chips presented in a dish with salad

MEA WHAKAURU

  • 3 pieces of fresh fish

Batter

  • Half cup of flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 egg
  • Quarter cup of soda water

Method:

Chips

  1. 3 large potatoes
  2. Cut the potatoes into chips and fry for 4-5 minutes in oil on each side or until well cooked.

Batter

  1. Combine all ingredients until it’s thick and runny. 
  2. Place fish into the batter and it is well covered. 
  3. Then fry for 3-4 minutes on both sides in oil.
