Mea Whakauru

  • Cup of flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 egg
  • Half cup of milk
  • Butter
  • Pinch of Cinnamon


  1. Place all ingredients in a bowl and mix well. 
  2. Mixture should be slightly thick. 
  3. Put a little butter in a frying pan. 
  4. Cook pancakes using a tablespoon for measuring mixture. 
  5. Cook both sides for a few minutes at a time. 
  6. Serve with golden syrup and butter.
