A waka ama and rugby enthusiast, Manawa got his first taste in film and television when he was filmed in the 6 part series “Kia Ora Nihao” in Beijing China. Now a presenter for the new cooking show TAO, Manawa enjoys helping rangatahi get back to a path of healthy eating through teaching them how to cook!
Noella is a qualified Clinical Nutritionist from Ngāti Porou me Rongowhakaata. A top student from Wellpark Natural Health College in Grey Lynn, Noella is the Nutritionist and researcher for the rangatahi cooking show TAO. “TAO is a dream come true, when I was a student I thought that it would be great to create a healthy nutrition programme for our people…” A firm believer in “small changes lead to big changes” Noella hopes that TAO will provide our rangatahi with an opportunity to learn how to prepare healthy meals that are affordable, tasty and easy to prepare.
