Indigenous Insight is a half-hour show compiling the latest news and current affairs stories, as sent in from around the world, for a fascinating and up-to-date window into other indigenous cultures’ daily lives.
Hosted by Lynette Amoroa, and now heading into Series Five, this unique show has been built on contributions from members of the World Indigenous Television Broadcasters Network (WITBN), a group that aims to share knowledge and support for native languages and cultures. Each week, member broadcasters post the most compelling stories that are affecting their communities.
The networks and countries expected to put in to the current affairs show include; Aboriginal Peoples Television Network (APTN), Canada; TG4, Ireland; Māori Television, New Zealand; NRK Sámi Norway; BBC ALBA, Scotland; Taiwan Indigenous Television (TITV).
