An instructional cooking series aimed at tamariki and whānau.
- 3 cups of flour
- 2 cups of sugar
- 3 teaspoons of baking powder
- 1 teaspoon of baking soda mixed in with quarter cup of hot milk
- 1 cup of milk
- 3 eggs
- 6 tablespoons of golden syrup.
- 200g butter
- Mix flour, sugar, baking powder.
- Rub in butter.
- Add in milk, eggs, baking soda and golden syrup.
- Mix well.
- Pour into a greased tin or metal mixing bowl.
- Steam for 3 hours.
