A moving documentary directed and presented by veteran broadcaster Cameron Bennett who, late last year, accompanied a party of 22 Kiwi veterans from the North Africa Campaign as they returned to Egypt.
The stories of three children left behind by American servicemen posted to the Pacific during WWII. Now in their early 70s, these children were identified through an Otago University research programme.
The story of Sir Howard Kippenberger, the much-loved general who led the NZ Division in the Italian Campaign and a strong opponent of sending All Black teams to South Africa without Māori players.
