Churchill Cup rugby on Māori Television tonight!

The Black Ferns, along with the NZ Māori, are through to the final of the Churchill Cup tournament in Canada.

Earlier today the Black Ferns, in their first match of the tournament, beat the USA 35-0 in what was a convincing performance. You can catch the replay of this game tonight on Māori Television with Māori commentary from Julian Wilcox and Bailey Mackey.

Next weekend will see the Black Ferns up against England Women in the final.

Yesterday’s live coverage of NZ Māori vs USA saw a close first-half followed by a high scoring second half that saw NZ Māori take the game easily, 69-31.

Yesterday’s win confirms a place for NZ Māori in next weekend’s final. Their opposition for next weekend will be the winner of the Canada vs England game due to be played in Calgary this afternoon. Be sure to tune in for the final, screened live by Māori Television from Edmonton, Canada, next Sunday 20 June (NZ time).
