Carlos and Dante Hihi are both under 10 years old, but the brothers have World Championship medals after being in the sport Brazillian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) for just under a year.

The Gisborne Duo competed in their first world championship this year, and spoke to Te Kāea about their success and goals for the near future.

Despite it being the Christmas holidays, Carlos and Dante Hihi refuse to take a holiday from training. The hard work and commitment of the youngsters  is paying off, after both brothers attended the Kids World BJJ Champs in LA in July, they came back with medals

Despite the relatively short period of time they have spent in this sport they've proven themselves at National and World events.

No doubt they both have a bright future ahead of them, no matter what sport it is.
