Warriors face a must-win match to make Top 8

The Vodafone Warriors aren't panicking in the lead up to their must-win clash against the Gold Coast Titans at Mt Smart Stadium this weekend.

To make the top eight, the NZ-based side will need to win their next two matches, but will also need the top teams to lose.

Focusing forward is what the Warriors are doing this week as they prepare for their round 25 clash against the Gold Coast Titans.

Coming off their biggest defeat of the season, losing 46-12 to the Sydney Roosters, the Warriors are confident they're still on the right track.

The team remains optimistic about their 10th position on the NRL ladder, which leaves them two points outside the eight, and are hoping the Dragons upset the Broncos tomorrow to increase their chances of staying in the competition.

The team had something to celebrate today, with captain Simon Mannering turning 28 years old and the veteran only wants one thing, to make the top 8.

With the Titans riddled with injuries and no chance for a top eight spot this season, the Warriors have a very good chance of making sure Simon gets his wish.
