In day 5 of the Pacific Games, there's been some ups and downs seen at the competition.
An upset was hosts Papua New Guinea women's team beating world champions Tahiti for the gold in historic va'a win, of the V12 500m final.
In weightlifting for men 94kg, New Zealander Kurtis Crowe, who is only 17 years old from Christchurch lifted with ease his first attempt at the game.
His first attempt at 119kg in his second lift seemed easy as well.
But it was Steven Kari from Papua New Guinea who stole the show with a lift of 205kg.
It was evident that he was by far the favourite of the category, and the reaction from him and the crowd afterwards showed that he maybe in for a gold medal.
