Social media across the board has been inundated with tributes for All Blacks legend Jonah Lomu, who passed away unexpectedly today at the age of 40.
New Zealanders and people from all around the world have expressed their sadness on the loss of one of the world's greatest and most respected rugby players.
Former team mates including Dan Carter and Israel Dagg took to Twitter to pay tribute to Lomu.
The Wallabies Rugby team has also paid their respects to whom they refer to as 'a legend of the game'.
Minister of Māori Development, Te Ururoa Flavell posted a status saying Parliament is currently paying tribute to Jonah Lomu.
