She's known by many as one of New Zealand's best midcourters of all time. Laura Langman has embarked on a new journey no other Silver Fern has ever undertaken.
Langman will be the first Silver Fern to play for an Australian franchise, the NSW Swifts.
However, Langman has still got it in for the Aussies after defeating the Diamonds in the last two tests of the Constellation Cup. She says, "To pump them by 11, sleep on that for Summer Australia."
Adding to her ANZ Championship career, she was part of the winning Waikato BOP Magic side in 2012.
She was also awarded the 2015 NZ Player of the Year at this year’s inaugural NZ Netball Awards.
It hasn’t yet been confirmed whether her husband Adrian Pooley will move with her to Sydney but she's still looking forward to the challenge ahead.
Langman is already over in Sydney training with the Swifts.
