Sam Rapira has been named in the NZ Warriors team to face the Gold Coast Titans this Saturday for club’s historical Anzac Day match.
This will be the veteran props first game for the season after recovering from a hamstring injury. Rapira has made his way back into the team after three appearances in the NSW Cup.
This is Rapira's 10th and final NRL season before he moves to England to play in the English Super League next year.
The Warriors will wear their Te Maumaharatanga jersey for the ANZAC game against Gold Coast. Five NRL matches will be played in five different cities as New Zealanders and Australians unite to commemorate the 100th anniversary of World War 1.
