North Shore rival schools faced off in the semi-final of the Northern-Auckland secondary school basketball championships.
Rosmini and Rangitoto College battled it out on court, but Rosmini were the victors in the end, booking a berth in the grand-final.
In what was predicted to be the toughest of the two semi-finals, Rosmini College went up against fellow North Shore side Rangitoto College.
Rosmini started the game strong in the first quarter jumping out to a 12-point lead, but a determined Rangitoto side fought back to even the scores at the first break.
The second quarter saw Rosmini build another lead and this time, Rangitoto failed to answer.
The Rosmini side pushed on from there, winning convincingly by 74-24.
