NZ's top junior basket ballers have come together for the NZ basketball camp on the North Shore this week.
The Junior Tall Blacks, the Junior Tall Ferns and NZ U20's are being up skilled on and off the court by NZ's best coaches.
Half the wider group are Māori, all trialling for a permanent spot on the Junior Tall Blacks team.
Some of the players came from as far as Australia to trial, hoping to play for NZ.
The ANBL competition is another goal for the players and they didn't need any more inspiration with the Perth Wildcats training on the court next door.
Regardless of who is selected, it’s clear NZ's basketball future is in good hands.
