Māori ABs line up change for Eagles clash

The Māori All Blacks have named their team for their test against the Eagles on Sunday with six changes to the starting line-up that beat Canada last week.

Ash Dixon (Ngāti Tahinga), Shane Christie (Ngāti Kuri) and Blade Thomson (Ngāpuhi) are the new forwards while Ihaia West, Matt Proctor and Kurt Baker are the changes in the backs.

Our reporter, Rewa Harriman, spent the day with the team and Te Kāea from Philladelphia to breakdown the reasons for the recent changes.

Rewa spoke with Colin Cooper and he told her the team has such great depth so changes were easily made and he wanted to give most of the guys a chance to play, but for Ngāti Kahungunu son Ihaia West, it's a dream come true to start on Sunday.
