After the euphoria of singles gold and silver, it was back down to earth for the NZ squash team as play restarted, this time with the women's, men's and mixed doubles. 

The doubles world champions and top-seeded Māori athletes Joelle King and Amanda Landers-Murphy lost their first pool match in women's doubles in straight games to the ninth-seeded Malaysian pair.
