Ngāti Porou's Joelle King is back in the top 20 on the PSA Women's World Squash Rankings.
The 27-year-old has moved up 15 rankings to number 13. This is the first time since January this year she has returned to the top 20.
Her return to the sport following an injury which left her sidelined for much of the past year has been regarded as "remarkable". She ruptured her Achilles tendon just last year and as a result, dropped to as low as 57 at one stage.
Her phenomenal comeback also meant she reached the final of the Carol Weymuller Open in October.
King's impressive run was ended in the grand final where she lost to Egypt's Nour El Sherbini, 11-5, 11-6, 11-3.
Meanwhile, there are five other New Zealanders in the top 100 in the PSA Men's World Rankings, led by Paul Coll, who has climbed one place to number 39 this month.
