Galaxy Touch celebrated their 28th anniversary this weekend, with teams from all around the country and the world celebrating this milestone at the event held in Auckland.

Galaxy members young and old, new and experienced came along to celebrate.

One thing they all have in common is their passion for the sport.

According to one of the members from the galaxy team, “It’s good to get a game with the team, it’s just about bonding with the team and starting our journey towards Nationals”

Teams from around the country and Australia gathered at Panmure, Auckland, to celebrate 28 years of a successful tournament.

The future players of the sport, had the early part of the day. Followed by the adults, many of whom are stalwarts and strong supporters of the club.

A total number of 68 teams participated, the number of teams you could expect for national competition.

The organisers are expecting an even bigger turn out for its 30th anniversary in two years.
