Faith van Duin to defend MMA belt in Australia

By Mere McLean

Faith van Duin's in preparation mode and is hoping to defend her title as the world's Storm Damage MMA champion.

She trains five days a week here at the Papamoa Gym in Tauranga, and her progress has surprised her coaches.

Last year, she took on NZ's number one MMA fighter, Kate de Silva, and beat her at the Storm Damage 8 Women's Elimination Championships in Australia.  This time around she'll be taking on Arlene Blencowe.

The fight will take place on August 30 in Australia.
