NZ Breakers prove too good for Melbourne Tigers

It was all smiles at the Breakers camp this morning, and so it should be after they won their fourth game of the season and climbed to fourth place on the ANBL table.

Mika Vukona was a star in the clash against Melbourne last week, scoring 14 points and 17 rebounds.

Vukona says, “It's a good win for the team.  It was a hard-fought game and it's set us up for this coming weekend.”

The defending champions don't have time to celebrate this win as they know there's a lot to work on for their next clash against the top of the table opponents, the Perth Wildcats.

The Wildcats have only lost one game out of their 11 games this season, when they were beaten by the Adelaide 36ers.

The Breakers have two more days until they depart to prepare for their game against the Perth side next week.
