The Auckland Anglican Māori club are renowned for their choir singing style and one of the teams to perform at the first Te Matatini formerly known as the Polynesian festival back in the 1970s.
The team was founded in the 1960's by the late Reverend Sir Kingi Ihaka and are based at Te Mihana Māori Holy Sepulchre Church, Khyber Pass, Auckland.
The team has been absent from the Tāmaki Makaurau Senior Kapa haka regionals for quite some time, so many will welcome their return. The item on display today is their Waiata Tira (Choral).
