Rotorua artists' work to be displayed at Eco Carnival

Two Rotorua artists will play a role in the Eco Carnival which will be held in Rotorua to coincide with conservation week.  

Their initiative 'Kaitiaki Kiwi' aims to empower people through the Māori language and art.  

It's art pieces like this that will be displayed to over 300 children on Thursday under this initiative.

Kaitiaki Kiwi hopes to enhance and strengthen the youths cultural and environmental understanding.

Over 300 children between years 5 - 8 will attend the carnival and at present, these works of art are going through their final check.
