Police investigate brutal robbery in Papatoetoe

  • Auckland

Police are appealing for help in locating six females who participated in a brutal robbery at the Hari Superette in Papatoetoe.

The offenders entered the store on the 3rd of April at around 5 pm and pulled the shutters down behind them to prevent anyone else entering.

One of the females brutally punched and kicked the store attendant repeatedly and she suffered serious facial injuries.

Detective Senior Sergeant Kevin McNaughton says Police need the public’s assistance to help identify those involved.

“This is absolutely appalling behaviour, and neither Police, or the Papatoetoe community will accept it.

We ask anyone who may know who these offenders are to please come forward.”

If anyone has any information that can assist Police then please contact Constable Fuipu’a Mariner on 09 261 1300 or you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
