Top acts who will take the stage include:

Rebel Souljahz

From the shores of Hawai'i, four best friends shared their love of music whilst at high school.  They then went on to form the popular reggae band Rebel Souljahz.  Although they each have their own style of singing, they come together to create a harmonious foursome unlike any other recording artists.  Last December saw the launch of their hit singles, Gotta know your name, Soul Jahz for Life and Play me like a fool which have already created a lot of hype on the radio airwaves.

His distinctive voice is recognised all over the world and this year he will once again wow the multitudes at this year's concert, as per usual.  Shaggy is a Grammy award winner and some of his most well-known songs include It wasn't me,  Boombastic, Angel and In the Summertime.  Despite the amount of success received by Shaggy in years gone by, he still remains humble.  He has recently released his eleventh studio album Out of Many, One Music, produced by prolific reggae duo Sly and Robbie which features collaborations with prominent reggae artists such as Damian Marley, Tarrus Riley, Peetah Morgan, Chronix and Beres Hammond.

Sons of Zion

Sons of Zion is a six-piece band whose style of music consists of reggae, heavy rock, dub and funk. Their live presence has amazed fans from all over New Zealand.  They recently released their sophomore album titled 'Universal Love' through Sony Music which features the single Good Love, Tell her and the popular hit Superman.

Three Houses Down

Three Houses Down is an Auckland-based reggae group that was formed in 2004.  They are made up of brothers, cousins and close friends who claim that their familes are their foundation, inspiration and key to success.  With years of experience in church choir, their blend of roots, reggae and rock is infectious.

House of Shem

This very popular Aotearoa reggae group like many other bands, is built around the classic harmony trio format.  At the helm is Carl Perkins, a man who has over thirty years experience writing and playing reggae music.  Carl, along with his two sons Te Omeka and Isaiah make up House of Shem.  They are both lead vocalists and composers in their own right.  They each have their own style of singing and writing which adds to the unique sound they produce as a group.  Some of their most popular songs include Thinking about you, Keep rising and Move as one.

Damian Marley

Son of the legendary Bob Marley, Damian Jr Gong Marley is arguably one of the most successful and well-rounded reggae dance hall musicians of the modern era.  Performing since the age of 13, Damian Marley has produced three well received solo albums, numerous accolades and has taken part in a number of accomplished collaborative projects.

He won best reggae album and best urban/alternative performance at the 2006 Grammy Awards.  He is the only Jamaican reggae artist in history to win two grammys on the same night.
