Today, the International Cultural Festival kicked off in Mt Roskill with the backing of the Auckland Council.
It's an event where the vast array of international cultures residing in Auckland can come together to socialise and learn from one another.
Many wonders of the world were on display, in the form of different cultural dances and performance displays.
The Auckland Council's Tikanga Advisor says there are also benefits for Māori spectators who turned out for the wonderful day.
The annual Cultural Football Tournament was a hit for some, but for others who arrived, it was the food that was the main attraction.
Indeed, it was a great day for the whole whānau.
