Jahzel Porter's family pay tribute to their lost loved one

The devastated family of 11 year old Jahzel Porter has paid tribute to their beloved boy who tragically drowned at the mouth of the Waipū River in Northland on Monday.

His parents David Anderson and Mihi Porter paid tribute to the young boy saying he would be sorely missed by all, especially his four siblings, the family say he was “loved so much by his cousins, aunties, uncles, nannies, papas and whānau,”

A message from Jahzel’s parents was posted on the Funeral home Facebook page which read, “We are so honoured and proud to have had you as our son. Your beautiful heart and big smile will be remembered and cherished always and forever. Love you always our big boy from mum and dad.”

Jahzel will be taken to Eparaima Marae in Kaikou today.
