The Hunt family are no longer homeless.

The housing crisis is a daily struggle for Michael Gorman, the director of the Christchurch City Mission.

Michael Gorman says that government housing was already under stress in Christchurch, but the crisis started after the earthquakes.

Social worker, Brenda Lowe Johnson, helped the Hunt family in their search for a house.

This morning Teremoana Mokotupu-Reuben erected a tent in Waltham Park. Teremoana and his partner are homeless.
