Hato Paora wins Te Pae Taiohi 2015

Secondary schools in the Manawatū/Horowhenua region competed at Te Pae Taiohi today for the chance to advance to next year's Kura Tuarua Kapa Haka nationals.  Hato Paora was recently announced as today's overall winners.

Te Pae Taiohi has been running since 1999, emerging from the aspirations of whānau, teachers and students with the need for kapa haka excellence in local secondary schools to be celebrated.

Pae Taiohi was born in 1999 as the inaugural Secondary Schools Kapa Haka National finals were held in Auckland in 2000.

Three schools advance to the nationals in 2016, here are the full results:
