Te Tira o Te Arakamu consists of performers from Eltham, Kaponga and the wider South Taranaki area, as well as Auckland.
This whānau wanted to support the cause, by entering their team to help boost the number of qualifiers for Te Matatini nationals.
With a mere 4 weeks of preparation, they've managed to put together a programme of some iwi favourites, as well as an original composition.
The majority of their kaihaka are debutantes to the stage, but hope they have made the crowd proud of their efforts.
Their leaders are Aroha-Lee Ngatai Weston and Ben Mose Tuiloma, and the group is tutored by Patu Maruera and Kaareen Hotereni.
