Same-sex marriage legalised

Labour MP Louisa Wall's bill had its third reading and the public gallery was overflowing with people who've waited a long time for the outcome of this bill.  New Zealand is the 13th country in the world to legalise same-sex marriage.

Before the final vote Members of Parliament expressed strong views on the bill both in opposition and support of it.  We have compiled a small snippet of some of the statements made at the third reading , as well as the announcement of the final vote tally.
