Over the weekend the National Party lost its much coveted title of being the first ever majority Government elected under the MMP system, losing a list MP in the special votes count.
That means they'll need to rely on other parties to get their legislation over the line.
Not so great news for National but good news for the Māori Party.
Te Ururoa Flavell is set to be appointed as the Minister of Maori Development the new name for Māori Affairs, and Marama Fox has had her position as a list MP confirmed.
The Ministerial roles are set to be confirmed at Government House on Wednesday and Te Ururoa Flavell joined Mihingarangi Forbes in studio to discuss the latest developments.
