Native Affairs - Still Sharp

Last week, the Honourable Dr Pita Sharples was the leader of what some describe as the most successful Māori political party in history but obviously, a week can be a long time in politics.

This week, the Minister of Māori Affairs is contemplating life post-politics after standing down as the co-leader of the Māori Party and announcing his impending retirement.

Our reporter Jodi Ihaka caught up with a reflective Papa Pete and the Sharples whānau.
