Native Affairs - Māori Electorate voter turn out

By Native Affairs

Despite the Māori electorates being home to some of the tightest and most exciting races of the election, Māori voter turnout was abysmal.

In Tai Tonga just 52% turned out to vote, Tai Hauāuru 54%, Tāmaki Makaurau 49%, Ikaroa-Rāwhiti 55%, Waiariki 52%, Te Tai Tokerau 55% and Hauraki-Waikato 52%.

To discuss this Mihingarangi Forbes was joined in studio by Maui Street blogger Morgan Godfrey, media consultant Scott Campbell and lawyer Dayle Takitimu.
