Thousands have converged on Whakatāne to support or participate in the 29th Annual Whakatāne Touch Tournament 2015.
This tournament is revered as the largest club tournament in New Zealand which attracts over 72 entries each year from all over New Zealand as well as abroad.
It also has strong support from league and rugby stars who regularly return to take part in the competition.
Teams battled it out in the hot weather today for a top placing and Te Kāea reporter Taroi Black was there.
Our team compiled this online compilation of events today which asked participants, organisers and supporters how they felt the tournament was going.
