Te Haaro o te Kaahu Kapa Haka Kura Tuarua 2016 – Ngā Taiātea Wharekura

Nga Taiātea Wharekura was established in 2005 and has competed regularly in regional and national competitions since.  The group has also performed at Koroneihana celebrations and at the Hauraki Festival.

Their mission statement is "E puta ki Taiātea- Kia mai ki te Poutū Whakaaro".

Ngā Taiātea Wharekura is fond of the national kapa haka stage. They made their national debut in 2006 and have performed ever since. They also have had experience at the Koroneihana and Hauraki Festival.

The group’s kaitātaki tane is Paumea Walker and their kaitātaki wahine is Ruamano Te Koi.
