Waikato Police are concerned about the whereabouts of 14-year-old Waihanea Maaka from Ōtorohanga.  Wahahea has been missing since Thursday 24 November. 
She was last seen outside Ōtorohanga College wearing her school uniform under a grey and black hoodie.  Read more here.

The armed offender’s squad was sent into Te Kaha yesterday to deal with rival gangs.  It’s believed the dispute stems from an incident where a tribesman gang member was hit by a white van while leaving a wedding on his motorbike.  Police later found the van burnt out nearby.

And congratulations to Rodney Bell from Ngati Maniapoto, the winner of the Artisitic Achievement Award at last night's Attitude Awards. The Attitude Awards acknowledges the achievements and successes of New Zealanders living with disabilities.  Read more here.
