* The five flags to be pitted against our current flag are on display at the Wellington Town Hall, an initiative set by the Mayor of Wellington to allow the public to see the quality of each flag in "flight". The five flag designs will be voted on in a referendum next month by the public, and the second vote will occur next year in March.
* The name of the 11-year-old boy who died in a tragic hunting incident in the Kaingaroa Forest yesterday, has been released this morning. Police are currently interviewing people over the death following a scene examination that took place yesterday.
* Strongman Rongo Keene has won big at the Singapore Strongman Series held in Changi, Singapore. He placed first in a number of sections earning an aggregate overall first placing in the Open Men's section.
