Native Affairs - Whānau ora

By Mihingarangi Forbes

Last week the Auditor General released a report on the Māori Party's flagship policy - Whānau ora.

In particular, it raised concerns about the amount being spent on administration - over $40 million out of a total budget of $137 million.

By comparison, the Healthy Homes initiative which had a budget of $100 million over three years, spent just $7 million on administration.

Earlier this evening, Mihingarangi Forbes spoke with the CEO of Te Puni Kokiri, Michelle Hippolite.
