If you thought we got rid of synthetic drugs last year - think again. The Ministry of Health is set to approve a new range of synthetic drug products which have been deemed "safe" and councils around the country are designating areas where they'll be sold.
It's a huge disappointment for communities who were plagued by synthetic drug addicts and their problems before the ban.
They say the government and councils have failed to listen to Māori and are again failing to protect some of our most vulnerable.
