Māori are among the lowest organ donors in the world, but our need for organs is greater than any other group of New Zealanders.

Now a new organ-sharing programme is offering new hope to 700 families.

It's called the Paired Kidney Exchange and for the first time our cameras have been allowed to follow a family undergoing a transplant.
