Adjusting to life after the disease can be a long and arduous road.

For some women, breast Reconstruction is an important step on their path to recovery. But the uptake of this surgery among Māori women is very low. Ngāi Tahu Artist Rawinia Puna allowed Native Affairs to follow her personal journey as she underwent Breast Reconstruction.
