Māori youngster takes on lead role as Disney’s Aladdin

Over 70 young and talented performers from Young Australian Broadway Chorus (YABC) will bring the Disney animated tale of Aladdin to life on stage next month in Melbourne.

One of those talented performers is Te Whakatōhea descendant, Cody Green. The youngster takes on a lead role as Aladdin.

“I'm Cody, I'm 15 and I'm playing Aladdin," says Cody.

He's the youngest of four and has been described as a triple thread, being a talented singer, dancer and actor.

For the past seven years, he has been under the guidance of YABC, which provides an exciting mix of tuition to on-stage performance.
