Man accused of killing George Taiaroa pleads not guilty

The man accused of killing road worker George Taiaroa has pled not guilty to a charge of murder at the High Court in Rotorua.

The trial for Quinton Paul Winders began today.

At a pre-trial hearing in May, Winders pleaded not guilty.

George Taiaroa was killed in 2013 while attending a go-stop sign near Atiamuri.
